Abstract: Os autores investigaram a reatividade leprom¡nica (reações de Fernandez e Mitsuda) em 50 indiv¡duos com tuberculose cutânea e em 6 com sarcoidose, residentes em  área não endêmica de lepra (Hamburgo, Alemanha). A positividade foi de 20% para reação precoce e de 80% para reação tardia, enquanto que no grupo contrôle os ¡ndices foram de 0% e 41,3%, respectivamente. A análise estat¡stica mostrou serem significativas as diferenças encontradas. Em todos os pacientes com sarcoidose as reações precoce e tardia foram negativas. Estes resultados sugerem a validade da hipótese que explica a lepromino-positividade em pa¡ses não endêmicos pela sensibilidade cruzada com o Mycobacterium tuberculosis. (AU)^ipt. Abstract: The objetive of this was to investigative the cross-sensitization between tuberculosis and leprosy by correlating the reactions of Mantoux and Fernandez (early lepromin reaction). Given this co-sensitization, the material studied would lead to the following observations:1) The Fernandez reaction (FR ou rF) should be more frequently positive among tuberculosis patients than in health individuals; 2) the frequency of a positive Fernandez reactions should be higher in urban than in rural areas because in the latter, the tuberculization is usually less; 3) In healthy persons the percentage of a positive FR would be higher among the tuberculin-positives than among the tuberculin-negatives; 4) Among BCG-vaccinated persons the FR should be more frequently positive than in von-vaccinated control group...(AU). Em um deles as lesões vitiligoides de lepra eram tão extensas que o problema era a determinação das partes sans, normalmente pigmentadas e reagindo á histamina. No outro, de forma maculosa de aspéto clinico tuberculoide, notava-se um tumor na região epitrocleana direita, lembrando a caseose leprosa, mas provas bacteriologicas de inoculação em cabaio revelaram tratar-se de um abcesso tuberculoso de ganglio epitrocleano.
